homeschool in the woods for what age/grade?

Has anyone used Homeschool in the woods unit study type curriculum for their early elementery grades - 1st or 2nd? I looked at their site, but they give no idea as to what age or grade the units are appropriate for. Or if they do, my appologies, I did not see them. Their products look great and I hear they are wonderful too, but I just dont know when I should start using them. Also, Can they be used alone or are they to be combined with another curriculum? Like veritos or something similar. Thank you so much for your help!
