Im having to throw together a quick curriculum after quitting a VS.I have some of the Key To fractions, so I thought I start with those and then later next month get the Key to decimals, percents and metrics.
I can run off review/speed drill pages online for stuff like division, multiplication etc.

Is there anything else he would need to round out fifth grade math and keep him up to grade level?

Thanks so much JG

What you've got there already looks great. Are you doing any geometry or algebra though? At grade 5 he needs to be able to do some of the basics for each of these, e.g. naming different types of shapes and solving x+5=7. A whole bunch of free worksheets and quizzes on these are at
http://www.math4children.com/Topics/Geometry/index.html (the Pythagoras stuff is a bit above year 5, the rest is relevant though)
and
http://www.math4children.com/Topics/Algebra/index.html
if you want stuff all in one place, although a quick search on Google could turn up more resources if you need them.

Good luck with your homeschooling!

Thanks, I went ahead, spent the money and ordered the Saxon 6/5 so I guess we wont be using the Key to unless we run into problems and need extra help...Thanks for your time.
