Calvert Pre-K?

Postby Carol929 » Sun Aug 19, 2007 8:15 pm

I'm considering getting the Calvert Pre-K curriculum for my daughter when she's 4, has anyone used this? Is it too much, too soon? I know it's expensive but for some reason I think it looks like so much fun and worth saving up for. Plus, I figure I can reuse most of it for my youngest. I wanted to use a curriculum or at least an extensive lesson plan because I am concerned with my own lack of creativity and ability to come up with fun, educational things to do with her once she's of an age to actually be learning stuff other than the absolute basics (wow, long sentence, sorry!).
Thanks for any input,
Carol

We used Calvert kindergarten and liked it. I don't think we've ever bothered with pre-K, however, we just went straight on to K.

How old were your kids when you used kindergarten? I was worried that the kindergarten program would be too much for a 4 yo.
