By official diploma, that ust means you have to have fulfilled the high school graduation requirements in your state. Colleges generally like homeschoolers, and if you can show through standardized tests (AP, CLEP, DSST, etc.) and portfolio of work that you have completed the required courses, then you shouldn't have any trouble getting into the college of your choice.

Have you talked to college admissions about this? I'm sure they've dealt with the homeschooler issue before and can give you some advice as to how best to prove high school graduation.
