My daughter is better at math than me!

:D Hi everyone!
My daughter is in 6th grade and I am at a loss at to what to teach her. We don't have any money to buy a new curriculum. Currently I'm using the old-fashioned "Ray's Arithmetic" and supplementing it with Kathyrn Stout's "Maximum Math". The Max. Math works for my son who is add and my other 2 younger daughters, as does the Ray's and our cuisenaire rods and homemade games, flash cards. But my daughter can compute in her head and I really need a workbook she can do on her own that is cheap and challenging. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I really like the Straight Forward Math series of workbooks by Garlic Press. They're only about $4 each.

It seems weird seeing it spelt 'math'. Used to 'maths'. but that's btp.

Perhaps you could find something off the internet if you have it?

Perhaps some stuff from your local library?

Changed my mind about Singapore math. It has no explanations. I'm also learning to be more creative and do math games where all four of my kids learn, too. I'll check out the Garlic Press. Thanks! :D
