What are the steps I need to take for home schooling in Tennesse?
Can someone give more info on the steps to take on how to home school in Tennessee for elementary school? Do I need to fill out some forms, be certified? what are the laws and protocol? How long will it take to set up for homeschooling? My daughter is currently in kindergarten, once I'm prepared for homeschooling can I pull my kid out of her public school in the middle of the semester. Thanks!

Sure! Go here. Pick your state. On that page, you'll find your state group's website at the top. Look on their menu for "Getting Started" or "Legal" or "Resources," etc. You'll also find templates and forms, for states that require those, as well as FAQs for situations such as withdrawing mid-year.

To homeschool in Tennessee, submit a Notice of Intent to your local school district, outlining your educational plans. Maintain attendance and academic records, covering required subjects. Optional: join a homeschool association for support. Check for any additional state-specific requirements or change check more info on https://educatoroid.com/.
