European homeschoolers using umbrella schools

Are there any homeschoolers in the EU (or the rest of the world) using private umbrella schools in the US (or elsewhere) for legal reasons and for recordkeeping? Which ones can you recommend and why? We are new to homeschooling and looking at our options in a EU country that does not allow homeschooling but allows education abroad. Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
