Understanding Special Needs

Postby tasha1011 » Wed Nov 24, 2010 9:18 pm

I wrote an article that helps parents to explain to their kids what "special needs" are. It helps those to understand and identify children with "special needs." You can read it at

An ok summary, but I would have liked a bit more depth on the subject. Any chance of adding more material to the article?

Over the years (as a tutor working with home school families and public school children), I have gathered information on several things that can cause or mimic learning disabilities:

Some require a medical test, but parents can easily test for for some of them.
