Hi,
My son moves around in his seat because he has sensory integration challenges. I belted him in his seat a few days ago, and it actually helped him focus more at the task at hand. I'm wondering if I also used a timer and challenged him to finish his tasks before the timer goes off, if that would also help him to stay focused. Does anyone have any input on this subject?
Regards,
Cristina

My son has sensory integration issues. Have you ever heard of a weighted vest? It's basically a typical vest with weights in it. It feels like you're being hugged, but works for kids on the autism spectrum and with Sensory Processing/Integration issues. You can buy them on Amazon and they are not too pricey. They are very popular in special needs schools
